So that’s January done and dusted. It can be a cold bleak month, so many of us will be glad to see the back of it. And although – for many – the start of the year is all about a new fitness regime, in my experience February is the month that most people really get down to it.


The kids are well and truly back into the school routine which makes it easier to find the time to work out. And spring isn’t far away. Snowdrops are out, daffs are poking up, and even if it’s still dark and cold, there’s a noticeable difference in the length of the days. All of this makes it easier for us to be more motivated than we are at the start of the year.


You don’t need to invest a huge amount of time to start seeing results. Did you know that a one hour workout is only 4% of your day? And if you’re still struggling to find the time, then at MM Fitness we make it easy for you. You can join our Spin Express class – its only half an hour. Or try our 45 minute Kettlebell class for a short but effective work out.


You don’t need to rely on walking ten thousand steps every day. Obviously, we won’t discourage you keeping your steps up, but a short, sharp workout can make a bigger difference to your fitness. Little and often makes the difference.


And if you’re tired of your old routine and in need of a change, why not book in for a new fitness programme with Morven? A new challenge is sometimes all we need to get motivated and start getting in shape for summer.
